Advanced polls opened Saturday in Woodstock
WOODSTOCK - If Saturday's advanced polls are any indication, the City of Woodstock could see an increase in voter activity this municipal election.
According to Deputy City Clerk Amy Humphries, 795 people came to cast their ballots, that's up 20 percent from the Saturday advanced poll in 2010.
Just 8965 voters turned out in 2010 representing just 34 percent of those eligible.
Advanced polls continue throughout the week with election day Monday, October 27.
