After 204 cases of COVID-19 were reported this morning, there are now 1,848 active cases in Ontario. There was one new death reported today with 39,841 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province is reporting 204 cases today.
Overall, there are 44,504 cases across Ontario. 5,974 of the cases are reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes and 2,661 of the cases are reported from healthcare workers associated with outbreaks at long-term care homes.
There are now 2,815 deaths in the province after one new death was reported today. There were also 39,841 cases resolved.
1,818 of the deaths have come from residents in long-term care homes while eight of them have been from healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
To date there have been 3,312,598 tests completed and there are currently 26,765 under investigation.
The Province's report says approximately 35 hospitals did not submit their data to the Daily Bed Census for September 11th. It is anticipated the number of patients in hospital may increase when reporting compliance increases.
There are 39 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 with 14 people in ICU and nine people in ICU on a ventilator.
