A Woodstock woman has been charged with possession, impaired driving and driving while under suspension after getting pulled over Sunday afternoon.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have arrested a 47 year old woman after stopping a suspected impaired driver on Sunday afternoon.
Police were contacted by an alert citizen who noticed the erratic driver around 3:20 pm on Sunday. Officers stopped the woman on Mill Street and found out she had a suspended licence.
Further investigation led police to seize some opioids, which is suspected to be fentanyl.
The woman was charged with impaired driving, driving while under suspension and possession.
The Woodstock Police Service would like to thank the alert citizen who quickly reported their suspicions to police.
