The Big Night Out Halloween Bash raised over $116,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - IT was a very successful Big Night Out Charity Ball for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County (BBBS Oxford).
Over $116,000 was raised during the Halloween Bash, which took place on Saturday, October 21st.
There were over 400 guests at the event, and there were many creative costumes including; the Spice Girls, the Crazy Cat Lady and her cats, The Griswold’s Christmas Vacation, Tom Hanks movie characters, Costco Sampler employees, Yellowstone, Skittles, Minions, and spanning the decades (to name just a few).
During the event, there were winners for the best costumes, and they were, Pamela Pilon Szala with an amazing "Dementor of Harry Potter" costume, and the TD Bank Group who came as Costco Sampler Employees and their outfits (including actual samples) were on point.
The money raised from this event goes directly to support the 11 mentoring programs offered through BBBS Oxford.
The agency has seen an over 200 percent increase in mentee applications over the past year, pressuring the need for support in all our programs.
BBBS Oxford wants to thank the Presenting Sponsor Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada; as well as all the sponsors, donors, supporters, and volunteers for their amazing generosity, friendship, and dedication to supporting mentorship in Oxford County.
