The Buffalo Bills say Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during last night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals and he is currently in critical condition.
CINCINNATI - A 24-year-old safety for the Buffalo Bills remains in critical condition in hospital, after suffering from a cardiac arrest in Cincinnati.
Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after tacking Bengals receiver Tee Higgins last night. He was surrounded by his teammates on the field and ESPN has reported that Hamlin was administered CPR on the field.
In an official statement on Twitter, the Bills say Hamlin's heartbeat was restored on the field and he was taken to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment.
The game between the Bills and the Bengals has been suspended.
