Lots of golfers are set to tee off at Woodstock Meadow's during the Bob McFarland Memorial Golf Classic.
WOODSTOCK - South Gate Centre is getting ready to put on their annual Bob McFarland Memorial Golf Classic at Woodstock Meadows.
This Saturday's tournament tee off is at 9am and it will raise money for programming at the local seniors centre.
There is still time to sign up; it costs $90 for a single player or $350 for a team of four. Operations Manager of South Gate Centre, Felise Jones says there is great value in the 18 hole golf tournament.
"With the ticket price you get a buffet dinner of prime rib dinner and chicken back at the centre, prepared by our own local roots catering."
Jones tells Heart FM South Gate Centre has been holding the tournament over the past 16 years and the name has changed since the early years.
"Its our annual charity tournament, a few years ago we renamed it in honour of our former board member Bob McFarland who was instrumental in South Gate Centre."
