Ostrander Road is closed between Highway 19 or Plank Line and Dereham Line because of a damaged hydro pole and wires on the roadway. Several homes in the area are without power as well.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Ostrander Road is closed between Highway 19 or Plank Line and Dereham Line because of a damaged hydro pole and wires on the roadway.
Motorists are being asked to follow the road closure signs and use the detour provided. Crews are at the scene, trying to clean up the mess.
The downed hydro pole has caused some power outages in the area, impacting roughyl 200 people. The power is expected to be restored to all homes in the area by 4:00 pm.
