There's still time to purchase tickets for the 7th annual Gems and Java on April 13th and 14th.
WOODSTOCK - Tickets are still available for the always popular Gems and Java fundraiser.
The 7th annual event for Mother's with a Heart for Ethiopia will take place on April 13th and 14th this year.
Those who attend will be able to check out the Bags and Bobbles Boutique, bid in a silent auction and enjoy an Ethiopian coffee ceremony.
Founder Shelley Green says you'll also be able to learn more about their projects overseas.
"One of them is surgeries for woman who are suffering with a prolapsed uterus. We have just funded our 135th surgery which would absolutely not be possible without the funds that are generated from our Gems and Java event."
Green says they have received a positive response from previous attendees.
"You're going to feel that you are doing something good. It's a meaningful event that you will leave feeling like you have made a choice to make a difference in someone's life."
It will take place between 7pm and 10pm on the Friday evening and between 1:30pm and 4:30pm on the Saturday afternoon.
Tickets are $45 and $360 on March 14th. You can purchase them online or at Merrifield Book Shop in Woodstock.
