INGERSOLL - A 14-year-old from Ingersoll is representing Ontario at the 2022 Youth Challenge 5 Pin Bowling Championship in Calgary.
Carter Morris has been bowling since he could walk. Bowling kind of runs in the family, as his grandparents own Ingersoll Lanes.
He qualified for the youth challenge tournament in November. Then he was named to men's team to play in the Provincials against all of Southern Ontario. His team didn't win the Provincials but Carter was good enough to qualify for the Nationals.
Carter is playing on a team representing Southern Ontario that includes 3 men and 3 women. The tournament started on Thursday and will continue all weekend.
