Quebec MP Joel Lightbound calling for a clear roadmap on the lifting of pandemic restrictions.
A Liberal MP is calling out his own government over its COVID-19 policies.
Quebec MP Joel Lightbound telling reporters earlier in Ottawa today that he thinks those speaking out against COVID-19 policies have "legitimate concerns", and he's worried the Trudeau government is setting a tone and policies that are divisive.
Lightbound says it's time for a clear roadmap from federal and provincial governments regarding the lifting of restrictions.
The MP also noting that he agrees its time for the convoy of truckers in the nation's capital to move along, though he says the government has no desire to adapt its policies in accordance with the evolving science surrounding the pandemic.
