CAS has been contacted after a Stratford woman was arrested for impaired driving with her toddler in the vehicle.
STRATFORD - A Stratford woman has been charged with impaired driving with her 2 year old child in the vehicle.
Police pulled over the woman in the Shakespeare area on Sunday evening after she had show signs of impairment. The woman was taken back to the station for further testing and was charged with impaired driving. A two year old was in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of her arrest.
The female can only be identified as a 34 year old resident of Stratford. At the time of the arrest, the child was taken into care by the police and was later turned over to a responsible family member. The Stratford Police had also contacted the Children’s Aid Society to follow up with the female and the child.
