People on Parkinson who are connected to the new sewer and watermain project extension will get a bill soon.
WOODSTOCK - Residents on Parkinson Road in Woodstock who are connected to the new sewer and watermain project extension can expect a bill in the mail soon.
Oxford County Council has authorized the billing for the project. Warden David Mayberry explains how the costs will be divvied up.
"How much land they are being serviced and the size of service they are receiving - so an individual home wouldn't pay as much as an industrial or commercial building."
The total cost for the project is $216,285. Property owners will have the option of making a lump sum payment or they can enter into a 5 or 10 year debenture plan applied to their annual property bill.
