Ontario is reporting 1,273 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, 2,362 resolved cases and 14 additional deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,273 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 528,453.
The Province confirmed 14 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,711. Another 2,362 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 504,304.
The province completed 40,866 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,023 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 645 people in the ICU and 458 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 269 new cases in Toronto, 268 in Peel, 101 in Ottawa, 78 in Hamilton and 72 in Durham.
