The Province confirmed 203 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 12 deaths. Meanwhile another 475 people have made a full recovery from the virus.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 203 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 0.6% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 31,544.
The Province also confirmed another 12 deaths bringing the total to 2,487 and 1,600 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 475 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 25,885.
5,307 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,967 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 538 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 120 are in the ICU and 87 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 24,341 tests yesterday.
