The Daily case numbers are over 2,000 again today in Ontario. The Province also confirmed 1,524 resolved this morning.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,094 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 345,234.
The Province confirmed another 45 COVID-19 related deaths over the weekend, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,337. Another 1,524 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 318,932.
The province completed 39,470 tests yesterday. We currently have 841 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 382 people in the ICU and 236 in the ICU on a ventilator. Over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 618 new cases in Toronto, 368 in Peel, 277 in York Region, 132 in Ottawa and 104 in Durham.
