Santa's House and sleigh rides will be continuing at Museum Square this weekend until December 21st.
WOODSTOCK - You can enjoy a visit to Santa's House, along with a sleigh ride in downtown Woodstock.
The event began last month on November 29th located at the Museum Square.
Downtown Woodstock BIA Manager Virginia Armstrong says both activities have been very successful.
"The Santa House has been refurbished. It's actually so magical and wonderful so you have to go and see it, it's absolutely beautiful this year and next door at the old Dairy Capital building there's an old artisan market going on there as well."
She adds the refurbishment to Santa's House was due to the generous sponsorship from local businesses.
She says people can also see the annual lighting of the lights, which started last month. You can also get your picture taken with him and check out the restaurants and shop downtown.
Families have a chance to head to Museum Square and participate in a variety of activities.
She says there's a lot going on.
"It makes for a great family outing, and of course it creates great memories. And it's just such a great opportunity to come downtown, support your downtown and support local."
Armstrong adds if you have mail to send to Santa, send it to his mailbox and he'll reply to you. She says you need to remember to put your first and last name, along with your address.
In order to reach him at the North Pole, send your letter to the following address:
Santa Claus
North Pole
HOH OHO
You can also get your picture taken with him and check out the restaurants and shop downtown.
The sleigh rides will be every Friday night going from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and every Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. They'll start at Museum Square and head down to east on Dundas Street, before making their way onto Wellington Street South, Peel Street and Reeve Street and then heading back towards Dundas Street.
The last day to visit Santa's Village and enjoy a sleigh ride is on December 21st.
