Norwich, Woodstock and Tavistock all hit the ice Friday night as the regular season winds down
The Midwestern Junior C Hockey League will wrap up their regular season this weekend and the Norwich Merchants have a busy schedule leading into the playoffs.
Norwich hit the ice at home Wednesday night in a rescheduled game against Burford, downing the Bulldogs 6-1. The Merchants were on the road Thursday night to meet up with Ayr. The Centennials dominated the game, defeating Norwich 5-1. The two teams will tangle once more, before the regular season ends, Friday night in Norwich. Puck drops at 8:00 pm.
The Woodstock Navy Vets will take to the ice in Delhi for their last game of the 2013-2014 season Friday night. The Travellers officially eliminated the Vets from playoff contention Wednesday night when they beat Tavistock 2-0. Game time in Delhi is 7:30 pm.
Elsewhere Friday night, Tavistock will host New Hamburg and Burford travel to Wellesley.
The regular season end Saturday night with Burford in Paris and Delhi in Wellesley.
