Southwestern Public Health will receive a limited supply of the protein based Novavax vaccine over the next few weeks.
SWPH - Southwestern Public Health is about to get it's first shipment of the newly approved Novavax COVID-19 vaccine.
It's a protein-based vaccine and Health Canada approved it for the 18-plus age group back on February 17th. The vaccine requires two doses and they must be administered at least 21 days apart.
Southwestern Public Health says it will receive a limited supply of the Novavax vaccine over the next few weeks. Those who are interested in the vaccine can call the Health Unit at 1-800-922-0096 ext. 9 to learn more or be added to a waiting list.
