Ten people are currently being treated for the virus in hospital in the SWPH region, including two people in the ICU.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health confirmed 15 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 17 recoveries.
The Health Unit also confirmed the 94th COVID-19 related death in our region, the third COVID-19 related death in as many days. The deceased is a woman in her 70's from Elgin County.

The Health Unit says 86.6 percent of eligible residents have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 83.2 percent have been fully vaccinated.
