Two drivers have died after a collision on Talbot Road just east of the Saint Thomas Municipal Airport
ELGIN - Two people have died after a crash on Talbot Line.
The collision happened yesterday afternoon just after 3 p.m. east of the Saint Thomas Municipal Airport. Police believe a burgundy pickup truck and a beige truck were travelling in different directions when the crash happened. Both drivers, the lone occupants of the vehicles, were killed.
Talbot Line was closed between Quaker Road and Belmont Road as police investigated.
Update (06/04/17 08:59) The pair has now been identified as 17 year old Samuel Chabot of Malahide Township and 62 year old Branko Cindric from Central Elgin.
