A 62 year old man from Woodstock has been charged with distribute, possess and access child pornography.
WOODSTOCK - A 62 year-old man from Woodstock is facing child pornography charges.
The Woodstock Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit and Criminal Investigations Branch executed a search warrant on January 30th at a home on Durham Crescent. Police seized multiple electronic devices from the home. A forensic examination of these electronic devices has since been conducted and some were found to contain images of Child Pornography.
As a result of this investigation, Greg Scott, age 62 of Woodstock has been charged with the following offences:
- Distribute Child Pornography X 2
- Possess Images of Child Pornography
- Access Images of Child Pornography
The Woodstock Police Service is a member of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet and conducts investigations into Internet Child Exploitation Offences in partnership with numerous Ontario Police Services. This investigation has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
