Police have charged a 25-year-old Woodstock man with sexual assault following an incident in Roth Park Saturday night.
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock man has been charged with sexual assault following an incident in Roth Park over the weekend.
An 18-year-old woman was approached by a man she didn't know in the area of Dundas Street and Kent Street at around 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.
Woodstock Police say the two went to Roth Park and that's when the man made unwanted sexual advances on the woman and started choking her when she tried to deny him. He was later arrested in the Windermere Crescent area.
25 year old Alexander Stetler has been charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of criminal harassment and mischief under $5,000.
