WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock business owner is feeling relief after winning $15 million dollars from Lotto 6/49.
Peter Kinsman purchased his winning ticket at the J&P Variety store on Ingersoll Ave in Woodstock. The 62 year old father of three says he bought his ticket on a day and time when he normally doesn't purchase his tickets.
"I used the Ticket Checker at the store and thought the machine malfunctioned. I was in disbelief until I brought it to the cashier to check."
Kinsman says nobody believed him when he won.
"All they said was, ‘Yeah, sure.’ No one believed me."
He describes the win as a huge relief and freedome adding it's a feeling of contentment. Kinsman plans to share his winnings with his children and he is eager to travel again when things open up.
