There are 41,287 cases in total in Ontario after 108 cases were reported today. One new death was also reported today with 37,487 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province is reporting 108 cases of COVID-19 today.
The total number of cases across Ontario now sits at 41,287. 5,923 of the cases reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes. Also, 2,636 of the cases are reported to be from healthcare worker associated with long-term care outbreaks.
One new death was reported today. As a result, the provincial death toll has climbed to 2,797 and there were 37,487 resolved cases as well. 1,804 of the deaths are reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes while eight of the deaths are from healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
To date, there have been 2,739,574 tests completed and there are currently 17,965 under investigation.
40 people are in hospital right now with COVID-19 and there are 13 people in ICU. Also, seven people currently in ICU are on a ventilator.
