Woodstock City Council announces this year's Victoria Parade Winners.
WOODSTOCK - The 2018 Victoria Day Parade winners have been announced.
The grand prize winner was the 13th Woodstock Beaver Scouts.
Beaver Leader, Trevor Hendershot says it is great to get to share what they do with the community.
"I think it's just the accomplishments with what we do within Scouting and Beavers. We do a lot of community involvements. So just being able to showcase what we do in general, whether it's camping, canoeing, backpacking, just all the little things we have on the float."
Hendershot hopes to up the ante for the Christmas Parade.
"Hopefully we can step it up a little bit. We usually come up with a little theme for the Christmas Parade, but we potentially might have 2 trucks in it this time to showcase hopefully a lot more than what we did this past spring."
