"It could have been a lot worse." That from Ingersoll's Chief Nursing Officer, Lisa Gardner, after a pipe burst on the 3rd floor of Ingersoll's Hospital last night. The water ran down, affecting a couple of units, before a shut off valve stopped the flow of water. Two phones and four computers were damaged, along with some ceiling tiles. Endoscopy appointments were cancelled today and two patients had to be moved. Otherwise, there was no major impact on the hospital or its operations.
