A 42 year old woman may be facing charges after allegedly leaving her animal in a hot vehicle for more than an hour. Concerned citizens say they spotted the animal inside of a van at the Zehrs parking lot yesterday during the noon hour with the windows of the vehicle closed shut with no water for the dog. Citizens alerted the store, which then made an announcement over the intercom. When the owner didn't come to the parking lot, the police were called and claim temperatures inside the vehicle reached 34 degrees. Woodstock Police say charges of Cruelty to Animals is pending against the vehicle owner.
