Local volunteer, non-profit, and charitable organizations have until March 1st to fill out an application to receive community grant funding this spring.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is now accepting community grant applications for 2024.
Local volunteer, non-profit, and charitable organizations have until 4:30 p.m. on Friday March 1st to apply to receive funding this spring. Once all of the applications are in, a committee will go through all of them and decide how to distribute the money.
The City hands out community grants twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall. Thirteen local organizations received funding in the fall of 2023, with a combined total of $84,100.
All of the money comes from the revenue the city makes from the local Gateway Casinos location.
