The Township of Norwich is looking for more representation on the LPRCA Board
The Township of Norwich is looking for more representation on the Long Point Region Conservation Authority Board.
As it stands now, there is one board member in charge of representing both the Township of Norwich and the County of Brant.
Norwich Mayor Don Doan says the board member votes twice on issues, once for each municipality but he says the system hasn't worked well.
Norwich raised the issue back in 2010 and the LPRCA did prepare a report.
While Norwich supported a review of options for restructuring, the LPRCA board did not proceed.
Oxford County has once again supported Norwich's request for restructuring.
