Construction is expected to start soon on six new town houses in the Friendly City.
WOODSTOCK - More development is coming to the Friendly City.
Mayor Trevor Birtch says the new homes will be located on Lampman Drive.
"Recently Woodstock City Council approved the extension of Lampman Drive to Juliana and that work has been completed and on the West Side of that new extension of the street, we have an application before us for six residential units."
Birtch says they always welcome new development.
"This is good news for the Friendly City and it aligns with councils reasons for putting for that street through, which was to allow for emergency services to better protect the neighbourhood and open it up for future lots."
The six new homes will be in the form of a town house complex.
