Woodstock Police are hitting the streets today starting their next traffic blitz.
For the next two weeks (Sept. 26 - Oct. 11), police will be looking for drivers and passengers who aren't buckled up.
The fine for not wearing your seatbelt is $240, and two demerit points.
Drivers are also responsible for ensuring that all passengers under the age of 16 are buckled up properly.
Ministry of Transportation studies show that around 8% of Ontario drivers do not wear a seatbelt, or they don't wear it properly.
