Burgessville will be hosting the Canada Day festivities for Norwich Township this year.
BURGESSVILLE - The Canada Day celebrations will be plenty across Oxford County.
On Monday, Burgessville is hosting the events for Norwich Township, which will begin with a parade at 11:00 a.m.
There will be a pie contest and auction in Ducky Dennis Park, which starts at 2:00 p.m. with the judging, and the live auction begins at 3:00 p.m. The money raised from the auction will help support Canada Day events.
The Danny Thompson Band will be performing from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., then fireworks will take place to finish out the celebration. There will be other festivities and a fun kids zone throughout the day as well.
