A Woodstock City bus driver has been charged after hitting a pedestrian.
A Woodstock Transit driver has been charged after a pedestrian was hit.
On Tuesday afternoon around 1:30, police say the city bus was making a left hand turn from Montclair Drive onto Norwich Avenue. A pedestrian, who had the right of way, was crossing Norwich Ave at the time and was struck by the front left corner of the bus, knocking the person to the ground.
The pedestrian was taken to the Woodstock Hospital to be treated for head injuries.
Police charged the 66 year-old bus driver with Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian.
