A single vehicle collision kept Woodstock Police officers busy this morning.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police responded to a single-vehicle collision in the city.
It was just after midnight this morning when officers attended the scene of a vehicle in a ditch, and four people were found near the scene. The vehicle was being towed for further examination, and while the investigation was going on, a speeding vehicle was seen by police.
A traffic stop was conducted, and it was determined the same 4 people from the collision were in the new vehicle. The driver, a 32-year-old from Woodstock was taken to the detachment and found to have twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
As a result of the traffic stop cocaine was found in the vehicle, and now all 4 people are facing possession charges.
