The Government of Canada released a new food guide today and drops milk and cheese from the recommended foods.
The Government of Canada introduced a new Food Guide today.
It calls for a plant based diet and and it suggests we consume less dairy and meat than the previous guides. The guide suggests eating more vegetables, lot's of fruit, whole grain breads and pasta and protein based foods like beans, tofu and meat. The guide calls for Canadians to eat less meat and more beans and nuts for your protein. The suggested drink is water.
