Former Habs great Steve Shutt is looking forward to this weekend's alumni game in Woodstock.
There are still a limited number of tickets available for this weekend's charity hockey game in Woodstock.
A cast of former Montreal Canadiens stars will be at Southwood Arena Saturday night at 7 p.m. They're playing in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association of Oxford County.
Former 60-goal scorer from the 70's and 80's era Steve Shutt will bring his talents to the Friendly City. "I play the wing, and I'm the oldest guy on the ice. I get to choose who I'm playing with, so I usually choose the fastest guys, and I tell them I'm going to the front of the net."
He tells Heart FM what fans can expect. "Our Stanley Cup years are over, so it's a fun game, but we want to show the skill that a lot of the guys still have."
Guy Lafleur is coaching the team that includes Pierre Dagenais, Chris Nilan, Stéphane Richer.
Tickets are only $10, and can be purchased at the door.
