ONTARIO - Ontario's Education minister Stephen Lecce announced today that high school students will soon have to take a mandtory technological education course in order to graduate.
Lecce said the new education plan is expected pave the path between young workers and skilled trades.
Starting September 2024, Grade 9 and 10 students will now have to take at least one course that will cover sectors such as construction, computer tech, manufacturing and communication.
