Police had to close the westbound lanes for two hours after a tractor trailer jackknifed Tuesday morning.
OXFORD/MIDDLESEX - The Oxford OPP has laid a careless driving charge after a recent incident on Highway 401.
Police responded to a jackknifed tractor trailer in the westbound lanes between Culloden Road and Putnam Road at around 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. It blocked all three lanes of traffic, so the westbound portion of the highway was closed for a couple of hours.
No one was hurt and police charged a 46-year-old from Brampton afterward.
