Police say the victim is well known to the 41-year-old suspect.
WOODSTOCK - A 41-year-old is facing assault charges related to two separate incidents in Woodstock.
Police say they both happened in the Brant Street and Graham Street area. One was on October 7th and the other was on October 8th.
A woman was allegedly assaulted in her home numerous times causing her to fear for her safety. She sustained minor injuries and decided to flee for an extended period of time.
Police say she's well known to the suspect, who is now facing one count of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm with choking.
