Kids between the ages of 2 and 11 will be able to hunt for Easter eggs in Victoria Park this Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Victoria Park.
Kids between the ages of 2-11 are invited to come by, get some chocolate and maybe even meet the Easter Bunny. Manager of Special Events Kristen Brodhagen says they're expecting plenty of people to show up.
"We are well prepared for it to be an amazing turnout. We have 2,500 pieces of chocolate and are volunteers have been amazing, they have packed all of the chocolate into bags, so we are ready to go."
Brodhagen says it should be a fun day.
"Children and families will be able to roam the park and collect five eggs, and then they are able to bring these eggs in and collect some chocolate, as well as a raffle prize, we have so many amazing prizes to give out. We will also have a few characters roaming the park, and I have heard, the Easter Bunny may even make an appearance."
The Easter Egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday at Victoria Park and you have to bring your own basket.
