A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Woodstock. As a result, Woodstock Police have charged a Tillsonburg man.
UPDATE - Woodstock Police have released an update regarding a collision.
The incident took place on Wednesday, December 27th, as a 36-year-old woman was hit while crossing the street on Juliana Drive, east of Norwich Ave.
It was reported today that the woman passed away from her injuries in hospital on Saturday, December 30th.
As a result, the 54-year-old Tillsonburg man driving is facing new charges of failing to stop at an accident resulting in death, and careless driving causing death.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have laid charges after a collision.
Officers responded to Juliana Drive, east of Norwich Ave yesterday just before 5:45 p.m. as a 36-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle while walking across the street.
The woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries at a London hospital.
Police arrested and charged a 54-year-old Tillsonburg man with failure to stop at an accident causing bodily harm, and careless driving causing bodily harm.
The man has been released from custody and has been given a future court date.
