Volunteer groups and community organizations in Zorra can now submit an application for the Township's community grants program.
ZORRA - Applications are now being accepted for the Community Grants program in Zorra Township.
It's for local volunteer organizations and community groups that provide services to Township residents, but they must be non-profit. They also have to be at least two years old and you can find a list of the other eligibility requirements online here.
The grant application can be found on the Township's website and it has to be submitted by October 1st.
All of the applications will reviewed for their eligibility afterward and staff submit a summary of all of the eligible applications to Township Council during budget discussions. Once the budget is approved, staff will reach out to the grant recipients to make sure they get their money.
