Oxford OPP are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a 47-year-old man this morning. At around 9 o'clock, police say a 2000 Chrysler Intrepid, travelling south on West Hill Line failed to stop for a stop sign at Clarke Road. It's a "T" intersection, and the vehicle struck a tree, and came to rest in a field. OPP and Beachville Fire responded, but the man died at the scene. Police are notifying the man's family today. Until then, his identity won't be released.
