Public Health seeks information on dog so local man can avoid rabies shots.
Oxford Public Health is looking into a dog biting incident in Woodstock.
Saturday afternoon, at around 2:30, a man was bit by a reddish-brown spitz-type dog, weighing 15-20lbs., near the entrance of Pittock Park.
It was off leash, along with five other dogs, being walked by two women, who were driving a silver Dodge extended minivan.
Health information is needed about the dog so the man could avoid a series of rabies shots.
If you have any information, contact Public Health Inspector Niels Dube at Oxford County Public Health at 519-539-9800 ext. 3421.
