Middlesex OPP are looking for the culprits who caused extensive damages to the Dorchester Fairgrounds this week. Police say some time during the overnight hours of August 28th and 29th, a vehicle raced around the horse track and grassed area before trying to exit property. The vehicle crashed into a wooden light standard that also hold the fairgrounds sign, shearing the pole in two. The suspect vehicle is a 2004 or 2005 Chevy SUV with extensive front end damage. The truck will be missing a headlight as well. Anyone with information is asked to call Middlesex OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
