East Zorra Tavistock Council wants the public's input on how to handle their township office situation.
East Zorra Tavistock is hosting two public meetings tomorrow to help them determine how they should handle their township office issue.
The Hickson Municipal Office no longer fits their needs, to the point where council meetings are now beind held at the Oxford County Administration Building.
Coorporate Services Manager Will Jakes says the township will host three public consultation meetings starting with two tomorrow.
"With all of the information that council receives they are hoping they can develop a recommendation on a preferred option whether it be build new or lease from a private developer."
If they decide to construct a new building it would be located at 89 Loveys Street in Hickson, right across the road from their current office.
Jacques says deciding to lease could lead to some other choices.
"That could be in the form of an existing building that somebody may own and wish to lease space or somebody may wish to build new."
The first meeting will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Oxford County council chambers in Woodstock. Then another one is scheduled for tomorrow night in Innerkip at the community centre starting at 7:30 pm. The last one will be held at the Tavistock Memorial Hall on November 2nd, also at 7:30pm.
