UPDATE: Highway 7/8 is back open. One person has been killed in a crash on Highway 7-8 near New Hamburg today. The crash happened at around 9 o'clock this morning in the Eastbound lanes between New Hamburg and Baden. The highway is closed in the area, and commuters are advised to find an alternate route, or follow detours in place. The investigation is ongoing, and we'll have further updates as they become available.
