Memories will be shared next week of a local helicopter pilot whose life was cut too short. A fundraising BBQ will be held at the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre on Thursday, January 12th, in memory of Tiffany Hanna. The pilot from Woodstock was involved in a crash that took her life in late November, leaving behind a husband and two young boys. It will be held from 11AM-2:30PM. You'll find it at 3-4881 Fountain Street North in Breslau, Ont. Tiffany's brother, Shayna Hanna, says the outpouring of support from the whole flight community has been staggering. "From the people that were in the tower, to people that knew her at fueling stations, to people in other countries as far away as Africa. They didn't know her, but because she was a pilot, felt compelled to send their condolences to us. It's been amazing." Donations of 10-dollars will be collected at the BBQ with hopes of raising 10-thousand dollars for Hanna's two sons. If you can't make it to the BBQ, you can still make donations to the trust fund at any TD Canada Trust location. Deposits can be made to Branch # 2752, Account # 6343014.
