Ford has issued a recall for nearly 90-thousand vehicles in Canada and the U-S because the engines can overheat and cause fires. The recall covers 2013-model Escape S-U-Vs and Fusion sedans powered by the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine. There are reports of fires in 12 Escapes and one Fusion, but no one was injured.
