The first degree murder trial for Michael Rafferty will resume at London?s Courthouse Tuesday morning. The jury was given a 4 day break from proceedings for the long Holiday Easter week-end. Jurors will hear from at least two Scientists from the Centre of Forensics in Toronto to begin Day 21 of the trial on the Crowns witness stand. They will testify what they were able to find on Michael Rafferty?s personal belongings and car that include the Pea Coat he allegedly used to cover 8 year old Tori Stafford with while she was being driven down highway 401 in the back seat of Rafferty?s car April 8, 2009. Rafferty?s Gym bag is also a piece of evidence in question that was submitted during last week?s proceedings; along with a grey colored piece of foam. The foam, also submitted as evidence and shown to the jury by Assistant Crown Attorney Michael Carnegie, was sent away for macro analysis, cut analysis and DNA testing. The trial resumes at 10AM.
